Alexandria Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life to hold fall tour
The Alexandria Chapter of Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL) will hold its annual fall tour on Thursday, October 24 at 7 p.m. at the Alexandria Senior Center. Refreshments will be provided.
A profile expert from the state office in St. Paul will present the state of the prolife movement, both statewide and nationally.
According to Nevin Smith, local chairman, this informative event will tell people what they can do to save the lives of the most vulnerable among them.
“Legislation is always pending, either for life or against it. The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) has those of us in the prolife movement very concerned,” said Smith. “All people, but especially Christians, need to be informed because innocent life hangs in the balance.
“The church throughout its history has always been extremely prolife,” he added.
Among other issues, those attending will learn the ramifications of the Affordable Care Act on the elderly, disabled and unborn children.
