Alexandria man wins $50,000 lottery prize
Jason Qual of Alexandria won $50,000 on a Double Dollar Fortune ticket that he purchased at Holiday, 785 North Nokomis Northeast in Alexandria.
Qual claimed the prize at Lottery headquarters in Roseville on March 1.
Double Dollar Fortune is a $20 scratch game that offers a top prize of $500,000. The odds of winning the $50,000 prize are one in 269,725. Overall, the odds of winning a prize by playing Double Dollar Fortune are 1 in 2.81.
Currently, three of three $500,000 top prizes and one of three $50,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
