Alexandria falls 4-1 in state consolation finals

After tying the game minutes into the third period, the Alexandria girls’ hockey team could not keep pace in a 4-1 loss to Proctor/Hermantown Saturday in the state Class A consolation championship game.

Nicole Bartels evened up the game 1-1 during a power play for the Cardinals early in the third, but from there Proctor picked up its offensive attack.
