Alex volleyball: Cards still perfect in CLC

The Cardinals volleyball team kept its perfect Central Lakes Conference record intact with a 3-0 win at St. Cloud Apollo on Tuesday.

Alexandria won in convincing fashion as they never allowed Apollo more than 19 points in a set. The Cardinals won the match 25-8, 25-19, 25-18.

Wensia Johnson led the Cardinals with eight kills in the match, followed by Amanda Christianson with seven. Setter Amanda Haack led the team with 26 assists.

The Cardinals had their serve working with a team total of 13 aces against Apollo. Katie Dolan led the Cardinals with four.

Christianson led with 10 digs on defense, and Liz Schultz had a team-high seven blocks.
