"St. Cloud Tech is a very solid team from top to bottom," head coach Dave Ronning said. "Our first, second and third singles players were only able to muster seven games."

The Cardinals' third doubles team of Abby Telander and Hannah Vickstrom played the closest match, losing 6-3, 6-3.

"I believe our girls gave it their best effort on this night, and I also believe that they learned a lot from the Tech players," Ronning said. "Our girls will get back to the practice courts and incorporate what they learned from Tech."

The Cardinals were 1-1 in the conference after the loss to St. Cloud Tech, and 5-3 overall.
