The teams played back-and-forth through most of the game, and the Cardinals were up 29-26 at halftime. But Apollo made its move with eight minutes left in the second half and went on a run that proved costly for Alexandria.

John Vogeler led the Cardinals’ offense with 23 points and Brandon Bistodeau also was in the double-digits with 13.

The loss was Alexandria’s fourth straight and dropped the team to 4-7 overall and 3-4 in the CLC.
