Aegis Therapies joins Evansville Care Campus
Aegis Therapies recently became part of the Evansville Care Campus (ECC) team, partnering to offer physical, occupational and speech therapy services on-site. Aegis is able to offer both inpatient services as well as outpatient treatment for the community.
Although Aegis Therapies specializes in geriatric treatment, the therapy staff is trained to treat all ages and all stages of life. It offers treatment in specialty programs such as medically complex disease management, falls prevention, dementia programming, urinary incontinence, stroke rehab, lymphedema treatment and many others.
Maralee Moen is a certified occupational therapy assistant/licensed and has been practicing for 16 years. She and her husband, Steve, live on the family farm in rural Brandon with their two boys.
Amber Volk is a doctor of physical therapy. She and her husband, Jesse, moved to the Fergus Falls area from Dickinson, North Dakota. Volk is nationally certified in lymphedema treatment and has five years of experience.
Monica Leslie is a registered occupational therapist/licensed and has been practicing for 20 years. Leslie is certified in geriatric enhanced modalities (GEM). She and her husband, Mark, live in the Dent area with their three girls.
Lowell Hoekstra brings 38 years of service with a Master of Science Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech and language pathology. Hoekstra also works with home health care. He and his wife, Karla, live in rural Underwood.
Jill Leitch, occupational therapy assistant/licensed, is the director of rehab for Aegis Therapies. She has been an Aegis employee for 18 years. Leitch is also certified in GEM therapy. She and her husband, Terry, live in rural Fergus Falls. They have three children and two grandchildren.
