$6,720 in scholarships awarded for long-term care fields
Ecumen Bethany Community awarded a total of $6,720 in scholarships for the spring semester to seven staff members, including Lori Schmidt, Danielle Saude, Nicole Hagel, Kristi Saffert, Vanessa Gilsrud, Lori Zastrow and Teri Paulzine.
Educational scholarships are available to qualified employees to continue their educational goals within the long-term care career field.
“Continuing career growth opportunities is an added benefit for our employees” said Sandi Vatthauer, director of human resources. “The purpose of our scholarship program is to provide an avenue for our employees interested in career advancement on our campus or the long-term care field in general. We are committed to growing leaders for our community’s senior care needs.”
Ecumen Bethany Community is a senior living provider offering independent living, housing with services, care center, memory care/assisted living household, adult day services, senior fitness center and short term rehabilitation.
