52 crashes reported in region Monday
Don't let your defensive driving skills slip. A lot of accidents are still happening on icy roads.
On Monday, January 24, Minnesota State Troopers in the west central and northwest regions kicked off the start of the week by once again dealing with icy roads and poor visibility.
Motorists driving too fast for the obvious poor conditions led to 52 vehicles sliding off the road, according to the State Patrol.
Troopers also responded to an additional 21 crashes, 14 of which were rollovers, and three involved injuries.
All of this occurred in less than 24 hours.
