4-H daycamps offered for youth
This summer, 4-H daycamps will provide youth who have completed grades K-4 the chance to meet new friends, learn new games and have a summer adventure.
Following are two daycamps offered:
Wednesday, July 24: Out of this World at Evansville Elementary School. Learn about space, rockets, planets, the solar system and more.
Friday, August 16: County fair at Douglas County Fairgrounds, Alexandria. Spend the day at the county fair. Go on barn tours, enjoy a treat at a food stand and play games.
Daycamps begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Youth are asked to bring their own sack lunch for noon meal.
Registration is $7 per person for each day camp. Register one week prior to camp.
