The kids who attended the first Douglas County 4-H daycamp included Eli Anderson, Anna Boushek, Riley Bundermann, Gavin Engelbrecht, Seth Engelbrecht, Olivia Erickson, Ethan Giese, Danica Haugen, Mia Haugen, Chloe Hoefs, Garrett Reed, Haddan Steen, Jada Streich and Jemma Streich. Douglas County 4-H recently had its first daycamp of the summer. The campers enjoyed crafts, games and learning about animals.

The next camp is Wednesday, July 16 at Osagi Park in Osakis. Attendees will explore the natural world through games, crafts and food. All youth in kindergarten through fourth grades are welcome.

On Wednesday, July 23 at Brandon School, campers will explore and create simple machines through creating junk boats, Legos and more. On Friday, August 15 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Alexandria, campers will explore the Douglas County Fair up close and personal.

Daycamps begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m. Youth should bring their own sack lunch to all camps. Registration is $7 per person for each daycamp or $25 for all four camps.
