Jefferson High School in Alexandria will kick off its week-long Homecoming festivities this Sunday, September 18.

Below is a complete schedule of the 2011 Homecoming activities:

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 18

1 p.m. - Powder Puff football

4 p.m. - Powder Puff volleyball

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19

"Dress Up" day for JHS students.

9:35 to 10:25 a.m. - Coronation. 2011 royalty includes sophomores Karly Betterman and Aaron Steidl , juniors Lee Klein and Hadley Klepper, and seniors Kendra Holm, Lisa Klinkner, Steph Krone, Lauren Trumm, Jordan Block, Jacob Callaghan, Gideon Hartsell and Will Sieling.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20

"Duo-Day" at the schools.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21

"Toga Day" for JHS seniors, "Tie Dye Day" for other JHS students.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

"Jersey Day" for JHS students.

6 to 8:30 p.m. - Open house/reception featuring 2011 Hall of Fame honorees, sponsored by Alexandria Public Schools Education Foundation.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23

"School Spirit Day" for JHS students - seniors wear black, juniors wear red, sophomores wear white.

Noon to 1:15pm - Education Foundation's 5th annual Hall of Fame Luncheon at Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria, honoring 2011 Hall of Fame inductees Jodi Hills, Hans Roderick Nordell and Dr. Patrick Redig. Tickets are $25. Contact Susan Scarborough at (320) 762-3310 extension 4271 for information/tickets.

1:35 to 2:35 p.m. - Pep fest.

6:30 to 9 p.m. - Education Foundation's "Jeans & Jewels" Goes Retro event. This event is held in appreciation of 206 Club members who donate $206 annually to support Education Foundation grants. Jewelry drawings, music, appetizers and a silent auction are part of the event.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24

Noon - Community parade, starting at the east gate of the fairgrounds to Cedar, to 5th, to Broadway, to 15th and ending at JHS parking lot, where a community rally will be held. There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place student float entries. (Pick up parade entry forms at JHS office or online at www.alexandria.k12.mn.us/homecoming. Entry deadline is noon on Monday, September 19.)

12:30 p.m. - Tailgating.

3 p.m. - Football game.

9 p.m. to midnight - dance.
