Donnelly Custom Manufacturing president to highlight strategies
Ron Kirscht, president of Donnelly Custom Manufacturing Company, will be a featured panelist in the Smart Solutions for Minnesota Private Companies event on Tuesday, September 25 at the Nicollet Island Pavilion in Minneapolis. As part of the event's focus on succeeding in today's ever-changing business environment, Kirscht will discuss Donnelly's lean manufacturing efforts.
Kirscht will present alongside two other Minnesota business leaders - Dr. John Noseworthy, president and CEO of Mayo Clinic, and June Schelde, president and CEO of Occupational Development Center, Inc. - at the event, co-hosted by Twin Cities Business magazine and Fredrikson and Byron P.A.
The event will also unveil results from a recent survey of more than 10,000 leaders of privately owned Minnesota companies on how businesses are solving today's most pressing challenges, including economic uncertainty, rising costs and change management.
Kirscht will provide an inside look at Donnelly's unique short-run manufacturing culture and the strategies that have helped the company thrive. He and other Donnelly leaders attribute much of the company's success to its people and commitment to lean manufacturing techniques.
Donnelly's innovative culture continues to improve tasks, tools and processes and thus performance and results, not only for the company but also for the leading industrial customers it serves.
