Sertoma recognizes its Sertoman of the Year

Brooke Steinbring

Every year, Sertoma recognizes an outstanding Sertoman for exceptional contributions to the club and in the spirit of service to mankind. This year, the club recognized Brooke Steinbring as the 2013-2014 Sertoman of the Year.

Steinbring has been an active member of Sertoma since January of 2006, representing the Alexandria Club at seven regional conventions.

She has previously served on the board as the social director and currently holds the sponsorship director position.

Steinbring actively participates in many of the club’s fundraising efforts, including the Ice Fishing Challenge, Art in the Park and Christmas tree sales.

Supporting Sertoma’s mission to serve mankind, she also actively volunteers with the club for the ditch pick, hearing screenings at the local elementary schools along with Special Olympic events.

Her other community involvement includes co-chair for the Hospital Holiday Ball, a member of the Lakes Area Professional Women, United Way chili feed and silent auction.

Steinbring was a team member on the Habitat for Humanity Women Build and has also volunteered on build days.

She is employed by Alexandria Motors as the inventory manager/finance team.
