• Jason Pohlen has been promoted to president of Bell Bank's Alexandria location, at 1001 Broadway St. Originally from Minneota, Minn., Pohlen graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato and has been in the banking field for 25 years. He spent 16 years at Wells Fargo and eight years at Bremer Bank prior to joining Bell as a commercial banker in 2017. Pohlen lives in Alexandria with his wife, Gina, and their three children.
• Jeff Restad, who has served as Bell Bank's Alexandria branch president since 2006, has been promoted to the senior business development manager for Bell's correspondent banking team, which provides bank-to-bank lending services in seven states. Restad is a native of Langdon, North Dakota, and graduated from Minnesota State University — Moorhead. He has been in the banking field for his entire career, nearly 30 years, joining Bell Bank in 2003. Restad will remain in Alexandria, where he lives with his wife, Amy, and their three sons.
• The Legacy of the Lakes Museum and Gardens in Alexandria announced that Linda Greseth has joined the staff as office coordinator. In this position, she will complete various secretarial duties to make sure the office runs smoothly and effectively. She will also work closely with museum visitors and volunteers throughout the open season. Greseth has lived in Alexandria for 12 years. She retired from the human resources department at Massman Automation in December 2017. The museum opens for the 2018 season on May 22.
