Kari Boyce

• Connor Blacksher, a designer at Christiansen Creative and a 2010 graduate of Jefferson High School in Alexandria, has been nominated for Ad Fed's 32 Under 32 Award. The award recognizes 32 up-and-coming advertising professionals in the Twin Cities. Winners to be announced at the annual 32 Under 32 awards on Thursday, May 18, at the Minneapolis Event Center.

• Faculty members from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center were honored recently for their excellence in academic health care. Dr. Kari Boyce, a 1978 graduate of Parkers Prairie High School and the daughter of Norma and Ned Boyce, received the Regents' Award for superior professional and university service and public outreach. Boyce is an associate professor of medical imaging and radiation sciences. She has worked for the College of Allied Health in Oklahoma City since 1986.
