New Aagard program provides tool cabinets for employees

After substantial growth in 2016, Aagard leaders identified a need for a tool program for current and new employees, evident through witnessing employees coming to work without the appropriate tools and/or the funds to purchase tools.

The team worked for seven months on designing a solution, the Aagard Tool Program, and rolled it out at the end of February.

The program provides Snap-On rolling tool cabinets that house every tool Aagard employees may need, such as wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, specialty measuring tools and more. All tools and tool cabinets have a lifetime guarantee.

The Aagard Tool Program will increase efficiencies due to all technicians having access to the same set of tools, increase mobility of technicians around the machines, reduce labor costs, reduce tool box clutter and the time it takes to find tools, reduce out-of-pocket expenses for employees and reduce assembly-related service costs.
