On Saturday, March 12, three mystery writers will be featured from noon until 2 p.m.

Pam Leonard, author of Death's Imperfect Witness, is from St. Cloud. Her mystery, set in Minneapolis, gives the reader a behind-the-scenes look at the life of a doctor in a major urban hospital who finds herself drawn into the hunt for a serial killer.

Jack Lambert of Mendota Heights is the author of The Battle of Otter Tail County, which is a fictional account set mostly in the Fergus Falls area in the 1990s.

As two life-long friends struggle with the burdens of age and reflect on mistakes of the past and the flaws of modern society, their seemingly idyllic retirement begins to unravel and plunges them into unexpected adventures and a mystery that culminates in murder.

Four additional area writers will be in the store for book signings on Saturday, March 26. Information for that date can be found at
