Alex Tech offers child care training
The Alexandria Technical College's Customized Training Department is offering two child care training classes. A "Supervision is Essential" class will take place Tuesday, February 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Alexandria Technical College, Room 205.
Instructors are Rondi Wussow, child development instructor, and Barb Kleinschmidt, Douglas County Social Service licenser.

A child passenger training will be held at Alexandria Technical College on Saturday, February 20 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Minnesota legislation requires all foster care and child care providers who transport children younger than age 9 to complete three hours of training on child passenger restraint systems. This course meets those requirements and is approved by the Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety.
