Last October, three teens were ejected from a vehicle that crashed at this intersection, south of Alexandria, on County Road 23. Michael Schluter, 17, of Alexandria was killed in the crash. Jonathan Salto and Jordan Grueneich, both then 17, were also in the vehicle and seriously injured in the crash.
